For California contractors with a suspended Google Business Profile

Google Business Profile Suspended? Let's Get It Back.

$349 flat. Billed only after Google restores your profile.

Send me the suspension notice. Within 24 hours you get a plain-English diagnosis of why it happened and the exact appeal package Google expects from a licensed contractor. If the profile does not come back, you owe nothing.

  • Appeals built on the documents Google actually accepts: state license lookup, ACORD 25 certificate of insurance, IRS CP-575 EIN letter.
  • The last contractor appeal I filed was approved in under 24 hours.
  • I file it with you, then set the profile up so it does not get flagged again. No contracts.

Send the suspension notice.

I text you within 24 hours with the diagnosis and what I need from you. Nothing is billed until the profile is restored.

$349 only after Google restores the profile. No spam, ever.

Why contractor profiles get suspended.

Most notices say "quality issues" and nothing else. The appeal has to fix the actual cause, not just ask nicely. It is almost always one of these:

  1. Your home address showing on a service-area business. Google reads it as a fake storefront. This is the single most common trigger for contractors who work out of the house.
  2. Batched edits. Category, service area, hours and photos all changed in one sitting looks like a takeover to the spam filter.
  3. A post or description that breaks a content rule. Asking customers for reviews inside a post is the classic one. Three updates in a single day makes it worse.
  4. Details that do not match. Business name, DBA or address that differ between your license, your insurance and the profile.
  5. A verification that never fully completed. Half-verified profiles get swept when Google runs a cleanup.

The diagnosis tells you which one it actually was. Then the appeal fixes it.

What the appeal package needs.

Google wants proof of a real, licensed, insured business at a real address, and every name and address has to match. For a California contractor that means:

  1. 1
CSLB license lookup, not a photo of the card.

The public lookup page for your license number, showing it active and in the business name on the profile.

  2. 2
A current ACORD 25 certificate of insurance.

Dated within 90 days, insured name and address matching the profile.

  3. 3
    IRS CP-575 EIN letter (or a 147C).

Proves the federal registration. Harder to fake than a utility bill, which is why it works.

  4. 4
The profile brought into line first.

Address hidden on a service-area business, duplicates removed, rule-breaking posts deleted, before the appeal goes in.

I assemble the package, check every name and address matches, and file the appeal with you on the call.

Real reinstatement, May 2026

A San Diego landscaping contractor, back in under 24 hours.

The profile was suspended for a content violation after an older post asked customers for reviews and three updates went out on one day. We deleted the posts, hid the home address on the service-area listing, and filed the appeal with the CSLB lookup, the certificate of insurance and the CP-575 letter. Google restored the profile in under 24 hours. Then we spaced the edits out and kept it live.

How it works.

Four steps, and you only pay at step four.

  1. 1
    Send the notice.

Use the form above or text it to 619-975-0717.

  2. 2
    Diagnosis within 24 hours.

You get the real reason it was suspended and the short list of documents I need.

  3. 3
We fix the profile and file the appeal together.

One call. I make the profile compliant, assemble the package and submit it with you.

  4. 4
Google restores it, then you pay $349.

Seven days hands off after reinstatement, then the changes that keep it from happening again.

I built Echo Local because home service businesses were getting ripped off by SEO agencies. They would pay $2,000 to $5,000 a month for vague reports and recycled blog posts. When they stopped paying, everything disappeared.

I think about an SEO system the same way I think about a 401k. The work I do today should still be paying you back five years from now. That is the difference between renting visibility and owning it.

I only work with home service businesses, and I do the work myself. No account managers, no handoffs, no offshore contractor doing your content. If you have a question, you text me.

Common questions about reinstatement

How long does Google Business Profile reinstatement take?

Once the appeal is filed with the right package, Google usually answers in one to fourteen days. The last contractor appeal I filed was approved in under 24 hours. Appeals filed with the wrong documents are the ones that drag on for weeks.

What if Google denies the appeal?

We look at exactly what the denial says, strengthen the package and refile. If the profile stays suspended, you do not pay. The $349 is billed only after Google restores it.

Do I need a utility bill?

For a service-area contractor without a storefront, the state license lookup, a current certificate of insurance and the IRS EIN letter usually do the job. If Google specifically asks for a utility bill we add it then.

I am not in San Diego. Can you still help?

Yes. The process is built around California contractor licensing, so any California contractor works the same way. Outside California, ask; licensing differs by state and I will tell you honestly if I can help.

Will my reviews come back?

In most cases the reviews return with the profile. Google does not guarantee it and neither can I.

What keeps it from getting suspended again?

Hiding the home address on a service-area business, spacing out edits instead of batching them, and keeping posts inside Google's content rules. I set those up as part of the reinstatement.
